Missouri River Energy Services (MRES) is committed to protecting the health and safety of our employees, our members, and their communities. We know that each of our members has made that same commitment as well. Therefore, MRES has decided to continue to keep our Sioux Falls office closed through May 1, 2020. We hope to return to normal operations on May 4, 2020.

Keeping the lights on and the water flowing is something that Missouri River Energy Services (MRES) Members and Associates are experts at, and your reliable services are one thing customers can count on during these uncertain times. MRES applauds and thanks each of you for your dedication. Without electricity or water service, this crisis would be much, much worse.

Two interest rate swaps allow significant savings for WMMPA

​The Western Minnesota Municipal Power Agency (WMMPA) has executed two interest rate swaps to lock in today’s low interest rates for the potential future refunding of previously issued tax-exempt bonds. The total value of the swaps exceeded $85 million.
